FAQ's

Do I need my L to get started?

Actually, no. You can start with the classroom sessions and your first lessons in car are on our private enclosed driver training facility, so you can actually complete those lessons before you get your 7L. The suggested progression is that you start your classroom and get the first lessons underway, then you will be in a better position to successfully pass your knowledge exam (not to mention, Mom and Dad will be more comfortable with you behind the wheel of their car after you have had lessons already)

How do I get to classes?

All of our classroom sessions happen at scheduled times at our classroom building at the Pitt Meadows Airport. For the classroom sessions and the introductory sessions that take place on our driver training facility, you will need to get yourself to Pitt Meadows. Once you have progressed to the on-road sessions, you can arrange for your instructor to meet you somewhere else if our location is not convenient.

Do I use my own car for the road test?

You can use your own car for the road test if you would like, but there is also the ability to use our car for your test and to be accompanied by the instructor.

Can my parents attend?

We encourage all parents/co-pilots to become actively involved in the driver training process. It is important that they are on the same page as us and they are reinforcing the correct techniques when you are driving with them. They are required to attend the co-pilot session which is the first hour of the very first classroom session. They are also required to attend your mid-point review with the instructor and yourself. They are encouraged to attend any lessons they can. The more they understand what techniques you are learning and foster those techniques while you are driving with them, the better your success rate. We also encourage parents/co-pilots to join you in our collision avoidance course, as there are valuable techniques that they can learn as well.
